This study presentation was given at the International Early Childhood Inclusion Institute in October 2021. Successful inclusion requires collaboration between the early childhood special education (ECSE) and early childhood education (ECE) sectors. During this session, authors shared information from data analyses and interviews with ECSE and ECE leaders about facilitators of and barriers to inclusion of children with disabilities in subsidized childcare. Participants were engaged in a discussion about the implications for policy and practice.
